Old Town

Old Town encompasses the neighborhoods North and South of Truman Avenue. These areas are rich with history, culture, and architectural styles. Most purchase here due to walkability to restaurants and attractions, as well as the Historic Seaport. North of Truman Ave is an area occupied by Bahamians in the 1800’s. Here you will find shotgun, conch, and Victorian homes. South of Truman Ave is where many Cuban cigar makers settled to escape war and many of their cherished Conch Revival style homes and cigar maker cottages still exist.
